Welcome to Philly. Welcome to Journalism.

IF YOU ARE HERE, you are probably in George Miller's Journalism & Society class at Temple University.

This site will be your guide through the semester. Vital class material will be posted here, along with information regarding the world of journalism. The blog roll on the right provides job listings, media links and journalism resources.

Check frequently for updates.

Personally, I think this is a good way to help students to get involved in the world of journalism by having extra links for us to go to. And not just any links, these are links that have the possibility of helping us advance our way into journalism.

Kudos to the professor for this sight :) very, very helpful. It's a fun and interactive way for students, like me, who I know find things such as this far more appealing than say.. a handout.

I keep finding myself reading the articles on here instead of doing my required homework that actually has a due date.

Then again, my major is Journalism and not math or history for a reason. :)

I would have to agree with the above comment...I have a math test in an hour and I can't stop reading and browsing the blog site. But, this is a hell of a lot more interesting!

This is a great way to get involved with the media and to stay up to date. This website gives students the opportunity to give their opinion and to let them know that they can truly make a difference in our society.
