Either way, the Phillies are going to the playoffs for the first time in 14 years!
And this poor kid has to live with his picture on the front page of the New York Post for the rest of his life.

Great way to sell papers--that kid breaks my heart. I love how blantantly they pawn his emotions to make a buck.
I'm just amazed that the Phillies won. My roomate and I have a theory that their win is why the Eagles lost. Two Phillies sports teams can't be doing good at the same time; it's physically impossible.

There's very embarassed little boy on a little league field somewhere in New York trying to convince his teammates that a kid who looks just like him is on the cover of the newspaper.
I was definitely one of those people crying. Being from New York and living there my whole life, I have grown to like all New York teams. Mets, Yankees, Giants, Jets, and the Knicks. I have also learned to hate all Philly teams in the process. So it definitely hurts. But Osi Umenyiora still sacked Donovan McNabb six times so Philly fans, Philly sports is never better than New York. We've won championships. How bout them '83 Sixers?
