Does The World Care About Donda West?

THE PLASTIC SURGEON who operated on Kanye West's recently deceased mother appeared on the Larry King Live program. For about 1 minute. Then he left without really saying anything (click the blue link to see the video).

Bizarre. And now I'm full of questions: why did the guy even show up? He says the media has the story all wrong. What's the story? Why did the guy leave? Did Kanye scare him?

More importantly, should Larry King even be interviewing the doctor who operated on the mother of a celebrity? Do we really need that kind of information? Is that news?

This show is apparently 'live,' so I guess either the guy agreed to go on it just to state that he would stay loyal to the West family or he changed his mind entirely about what he was about to say. And yes, it was a stupid story idea.

I like Kanye but I could care less about this story. News? Depends on the audience, maybe Entertainment news.

It is entertainment news. Is it just me, or is it sad that since people want to watch E News instead of MSNBC, that stations have to set up interviews with celebrities instead of people who have actual importance? We hear stories of Kanye's mother, which yes is new. But, is it front page news? No way.

It maybe should be known that this man has had malpractice suits filed against him. It probably wouldn't be the talk on national news if it wasn't a likable (I guess for the most part) celebrity/rapper's family member.

I think this story is very important because sometimes it takes famous names in order for changes to occur, and I do think that the country's mindset in regards to plastic surgery has to change. I am not pushing the idea of being "happy with one's body", because I personally wouldn't mind getting a nosejob, but I think that people really have to take the risks into consideration when getting procedures done, because it's not always going to be as simple as the stars make it seem.

I had to look at this clip twice, because what Dr. Adams did flew right over my head. So he gets on live television to say he respects the West family's wishes and shall say nothing? For all of that, he could have wrote a little note to Larry King and just saved himself from embarrassment of looking like an ass. If Kanye West threatened him to not disclose any information about what exactly happened to his mother, I respect that he didn't. But the plastic surgeon was scared to the point that he didn't even want to talk about anything affecting or concerning him either.

Kanye scared him I am sure. Dr. Adams said he came on to clear up what the media was saying about him, but backed down. Oh yea, I am passed convinced Kanye told him a thing or two before the airing of the show.

Now concerning if it is news. I would say it is new because well the glory of plastic surgery is so in your face, that sometimes you need to see that other side and unfortunately it took a celebrity's deceased mother to encourage coverage on that neative side of such a procedure. What isn't news is the fact that they are highlighting such a tragedy so much because it IS about a celebrity. Its like a slap in th face to the normal people that lose loved ones everyday, like their lives do not matter.

My condolences go out to Kanye West and his family for their lost. But this is not front page, headliner news. The media should stop trying to captilize off of celebrity news so damn much and cover what really matters.

Anything that sells papers though, right?
