WHAT DID YOU THINK of our guest, Marc Zumoff?
Here are a few things he said that stood out for me:
• Get internships.
• Network, form relationships and kiss ass.
• Make your life revolve around your passions.
• Being a good writer will make you stand out, even in broadcasting.
What stood out for you?

I personally loved Marc Zumoff's presentation in class. I really learned alot about what it really takes, and it obviously takes a lot of courage and perseverance to make your dreams come true, especially in this industry.

I thought Marc Zumoff had really good presentation. He had a lot of great points and really made me think about my future and how to get it started. I think his most important point was to be friends with everyone! Its true...you never know who may help you out in the future.
Marc Zumoff's presentation was extremely interesting and kept me intrigued. His personality definitely helped his speech. What he said was really useful and put a lot of aspects of journalism for me in perspective. He made me realize that my dreams are within my reach as long as I put in a lot of time and dedication
Marc Zumoff lecture was very interesting. It provided me with a lot of valuable information about the industry. His enthusiasm was refreshing since the state of the industry is very discouraging to aspiring journalists.
I am so glad that Marc Zumoff came to speak to our class! He seriously motivated me so incredibly much. I have been tweaking my resume since and have been looking for internship opportunities. It was realy encouraging to hear that he started as a lowly intern and now he has this amazing, incredibly desirable job. I realize that now is the time to start achieving my dreams. I don't just have to wait until I graduate or finish a certain amount of college credits to reach my goals. I can do that right now; today.
I loved Marc Zumoff, and I'm really glad he agreed to come speak to us. It's good to hear from someone who has worked hard and now has a life most envy. He gave great advice and even through names out there for us to contact, which in my opinion, was really helpful.
Marc Zumoff was a really great speaker and he definitely helped to ease some of the fears that I had about internships and making connections with people. I met Mr. Zumoff last year during my senior year at CAPA (his son and I were in the same graduating class) when he was the announcer at our Senior Showcase and he seemed really nice then. After his speaking to our class, i got to know more about him and he's really cool.
i thought he was an awesome guest to hear from. I really learned alot and felt he was very entertaining and engaging.
zumoff is basically the living proof for why you should pursue what you love. inspirational in a way, as well.
I enjoyed Marc's presentation in class because he really got me psyched about the career I chose to go into. Everyone around me has been joking and even scolding me about deciding to become a journalism major, but Marc's speech really left me feeling good about it again.
A lot of times it can be frustrating majoring in journalism, it is inspiring listening to people reassure you it is possible to succeed.
I almost wanted to change my major to journalism... he was uplifting. But, at the end of the day I realized I wasn't insane, so I didn't. =)

Marc is a great guy. I got him to call into my radio show on WHIP and he gave me his cell phone number to call him if I'm ever at a Sixers game. He also gave me the opportunity to opt-in for his blog. Marc is a class act and a good guy.
