Note To Future Journalists: Wait to Get Drunk Until After Filing Your Story (And Always Avoid a Dutchman With a Camera).

I HAVE NO idea what to say about this.

But I couldn't stop watching it.

Wow, hard news journalist Alan Smith. I am speechless, and this was definitely like a train wreck. You want to turn away, but your eyes are fixated on it.
I hope this guy enjoyed the ladies, the drinks, and the wonderful travels he spoke of.

'And I'm a bit pissed." Irreplaceable haha. I wonder what would happen if Anderson Cooper and Wolf Blitzer got pissed. I think they might break the Idol ratings.

That was pretty sad. I hope I don't turn into an alcoholic, unhappy journalist. And how mean of the cameraman to post it on youtube!

People, people. But he has a deep respect for the dutch nation! What a fantastic hard news journalist, even if he was a self proclaimed, "bit of an idiot."

After I ceased my uncontrollable laughter I felt a little bad for him. His career is now officially a joke. I'll be sure to never to drink on the job for fear of my reputation.

Talk about ruining your career. This guy can kiss his journalistic career good-bye. It's almost as if he wanted to lose his job. I don't what was worse, this or the whole Larry Mendte incident. And I just realized that he said he "cut and pasted from BBC." Admitting to plagarism is probably not a good idea in this field.
