While You Were On Vacation ...

CNBC HOST JIM CRAMER appeared on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart (above) after they attacked each other on their respective shows.

This was just an incredible interview. It shows that Stewart is not only a comedian but also as a very intelligent individual who knows his stuff. Above all else, I loved the one comment where Stewart mentioned that "personal finances are not a game, there are people listening to you that abide by your advice, you cannot just play around with this stuff like it's just a game." I loved it.

I have been following this since the first post about Santelli. I think it is completely amazing how well Stewart displayed his ignorance and how he confronted Cramer. I am curious as to what will happen with Cramer's show now after his 15-minutes of fame, or should i say 15-minutes of humiliation.

Once again John Steward shows why he's the most trusted man in America. He's funny, but he's our Cronkite. What I love about the Daily Show is how it kills two birds with one stone by questioning whether it's more important to report on the news, or the people telling it. Of course it's comedy and it's completely biased, but so is the rest of the news! Now that CNN is interspersing their news with caption contests, it's all comedy. The Daily Show is just the funniest news show.

Jon Stweart is what Eminem is to pop culture...well, maybe a little more thoughtful but you know...he says what we are all thinking yet don't have the microphone to say.

Can't believe Don Polec's leaving. For the most part the Action News team I grew up with is still in tact, with the exceptions of Lisa T. Laurie who only does brief stories now and Gary Papa who occasionally has to leave due to cancer. I'll miss Polec's segment, it was always a funny and interesting addition to the show. RIP Don Polec's World.
