APPARENTLY, DONALD TRUMP was upset after getting skewered by Seth Meyers (and President Obama) at the White House correspondents dinner over the weekend.
“Seth Meyers has no talent,” Trump said Sunday, according to the New York Times. “He fell totally flat. In fact, I thought Seth’s delivery was so bad that he hurt himself.”
During Meyers' nearly 20 minute presentation, he mocked Trump repeatedly.
"Donald Trump has said he's running for president as a Republican," he said, "which is surprising because I thought he was running as a joke."
The president also mocked the reality TV star, casino mogul and potential presidential candidate. Obama referred to Trump firing Gary Busey from his reality show, opting not to send home Meatloaf instead.
"These are the types of decisions that would keep me up at night," Obama said. "Well handled, sir."
Trump, of course, has been the public face of the "birther" controversy, with some people alleging that Barack Obama was not born in the United States America. Obama revealed his long-form birth certificate last week and Trump took credit for the president's actions.
And rumors of Trump running for president have been swirling for weeks. The Donald has not said whether he will run or not.
Are the media being Charlie Sheen-ed, conned into giving coverage to Trump? Are they only supporting his TV show by constantly talking about him?
Should the media cut back their coverage of Trump until he actually says that he is or is not running for president? Or is this just too easy to have fun with?

For nothing other than pure comedy, I believe that this 'stand-up' of sorts, was totally appropriate in this case-scenario.
Trump is just doing this to get attention. There is no way that he could even make it to be a candidate. Some of the stuff he said is so idiotic. He acts like his methods would actually work. Maybe if you're scolding a three year old, but that's it.
Donald Trump as president is a joke. The media should just let him have his time and extra fame because he knows as much as we do that he Would never make it as a president. Who is going to vote for him? No one takes him seriously.
I think your last statement kinda hit it on the head, it's too fun! He is getting a boatload of coverage but I WAS a Trump fan and an avid watcher of apprentice. NOT ANY MORE!! I think what he got at the correspondants dinner was well deserved. I have heard some flak about how Obama handled the situation but I think he handled it great, Trump is making a mockery of our electorial process(which needs absolutely no help)so he should be treated with mockery. Bravo for treating him as a joke, with a joke. I couldn't believe he claimed to be a "traditionalist" when it came to marriage thats why he opposes gay marriage. So tradition is continually younger blondes. Hee Hee Ha Ha I gotta go I'm cracking up right now! Trump as Presi... HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I personally feel as is Donald Trump is always on the defensive and cannot take a joke. Seth Meyers is a comedian and a comedian’s job is to make fun of things and people around them. Meyers made several jokes towards the President, Vice President, and other officials who were able to laugh it off. I feel as if Trump looks for media attention anywhere he can get it, and wants to portray himself as a victim, a real candidate, and make off as if Meyers did an awful job during his speech/ roost.
I feel that the media should cut back on the attention on Trump because even if he does become a legit candidate I do not seriously see him as being President. I feel like the media follows/ reports on him because people look at it as a form of entertainment.

the only thing i wish is for people like him to run more often, and, why not?; we are talking because of it
