This is newsworthy only because it involves family members of public figures. I don't think this is something that regular news organizations should be reporting on, however, organizations such as TMZ or People Magazine could definitely use this story.
I don't believe this particular event is newsworthy, so what the a politicians' family member is having a affair with his deceased brother's wife. This information doesn't physically affect the public. to me this information is nothing but entertainment.

Journalist should be able to report on family members of former politicians, especially when the story being reported is news worthy. Me personally I don't care if the son of the former vice president, Joe Biden, is in fact having an affair with his deceased brother's wife, and not because the news doesn't tug on my emotions because it does. I just feel like there's other things out there deserving news coverage that's more important than Joe Biden son sleeping with his sister in-law.
However, looking at this report from an objective point of view, this story does in fact fit some of the news worthy criteria. This story does have timeliness, this story is centered around a famous family, and it definitely appeals to my emotions, therefore this story does spark human interest. But still, in my own opinion this story does not feel like a story worthy of news coverage; for me this story feels more like an entertainment piece because the people outside of the Biden family are not directly affected by this particular situation.
